What concrete should I use?
For footings, use Gen3 for single-storey foundations and RC28/35 for double-storey foundations.
For mass fill applications, use Gen 1 concrete.
There are a multitude of different mixes for the many applications that arise – please call us and we can advise.
How long do you stay on site?
What if it rains?
What about cold conditions?
Do not pour concrete over or into frozen substrate.
If the temperature is likely to drop overnight after you have laid concrete, then take precautions such as covering with boards/insulation etc.
What about hot conditions?
Use a spray on curing compound or wait until it’s a little cooler.
Hot weather and a drying wind are not concrete’s friends.
